Get to Know Romeo

I’m Romeo Nasr, a 16-year-old racing driver from Sydney NSW. Motorsport has been my lifelong passion, my journey began in the grassroots levels of motorsport, where I first got behind the wheel of a kart at 12. The adrenaline and thrill that come with racing have driven me to push my limits

and make the most of every opportunity to compete and grow in this sport.

In just four years, I’ve had the privilege of competing in some of Australia’s most prestigious karting

events, where I often qualified in the top 10% of drivers nationally & internationally. I have also obtained several the top five placings, including at rounds of the Australian Kart Championship.

Competing against the country’s best young drivers has been incredible, but my journey didn’t stop there. Representing Australia on the world stage has been a dream come true – from Spain and Italy to Belgium and Abu Dhabi, I’ve placed in the top ten at international events like the Champions of the Future series, competing on some of the world’s greatest karting circuits. Those experiences taught me so much and have only intensified my commitment to taking my career further.

Looking to the future I have spent the past twelve months training to take the next step in my career, being offered a seat in car racing as part of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Toyota 86 Scholarship Series. This series serves as a stepping stone towards my ultimate goal of competing in Australia’s premier motorsport category, the V8 Supercars. With a strong foundation in karting, international experience, and a strong determination to achieve my goals, I’m excited at the prospect to partner with sponsors who share my vision and drive for success in motorsport.
